George Magovern, Senior Associate
George Magovern is a Senior Associate at SilverMill, LLC. George has more than seven years of transaction and investment experience with middle market businesses. He brings strong analytical skills and a keen eye toward evaluating and executing value creation activities and growth strategies.
Prior to SilverMill, George served as an Associate with Five Points Capital (previously BB&T Capital Partners). In this role George analyzed and implemented several transactions related to advanced manufacturing and niche distribution within the healthcare and life sciences verticals.
George began his career as an Analyst at Harris Williams & Co., an investment banking firm providing middle market sell-side M&A advisory. George also has experience as a Senior Associate with Grouse Ridge Capital, a family office with venture capital and private equity strategies, in which he gained hands on operational experience with a post-revenue robotics startup company.
George obtained a B.S. in Accounting & Business Administration from Washington & Lee University, where he graduated cum laude and played on the Men’s Tennis team. George also obtained an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
